Conversion Specialist

You understand that CRO is not just about A/B testing, and you can convince our clients of that too. You take data-driven decisions and know how to identify user needs and report them to our clients. How do people use our sites, apps and campaigns? What puts users off, why is that, and how can we prevent it? You find the answers to those questions and present them in bite-sized chunks, so our designers and developers know what they have to achieve – and so the client's turnover goes through the roof.

You hang your coat, grab that first cup of coffee and…
the weekly team meeting is on the agenda. You, the online marketers, share the past week's insights at that meeting. You've been working on a newspaper firm's ordering process. A lot of users are struggling with one of the selection elements on the form; 55% just give up completely. You identified the problem and took some concrete optimisation ideas to the designer. It was adjusted last week and the conversion rates immediately shot up!

That afternoon, you visit a new client. We're building a totally new webshop for this optician, and there are still a few doubts about some pages. We don't know exactly how many lens specifications we should show. You're presenting your ideas today. We're going to test three different product pages from go-live. You answer all the client's questions and impress them with your clear explanations. Back at the office, you get the heatmaps, user recordings and polls ready. Soon we'll know exactly what works.

And when is it time to celebrate? 
When the conversation rates explode thanks to your insights, and the client calls you that evening to tell you how happy he is with your work.

What do you bring to the table?

  • You have completed a business- or marketing-related degree at a university or university of applied sciences;
  • You have 1-3 years' experience in conversion rate optimisation;
  • Agency experience is not required, but you must have experience in an advisory role;
  • You are a strong communicator and your presentation skills are second to none;
  • You have an affinity with figures and data, you interpret them and convert them into recommendations;
  • You are familiar with Excel and you know PowerPoint or KeyNote inside out;
  • Experience with VWO or Optimizely is a plus.
