Monday evening saw the release of the shortlist for the Google Premier Partner Awards 2017. Online marketing agency Expand Online (part of Dept) has been nominated for awards in two categories: Search Innovation with Vacanceselect and Growing Businesses Online with Arla Foods BV.
The awards showcase the achievements of the best digital marketing agencies and suppliers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMEA). The six EMEA winners will be announced at the Google Awards Ceremony in Dublin, Ireland, in September. The awards are only open to an elite group of specialist digital marketing agencies that have been named Google Premier Partners.
‘Book your dream holiday with one click.’ This was the concept behind the case developed for camping holiday booking site Vacanceselect. It formed the basis of a major marketing campaign for more than 890 campsites and holiday parks in Europe, combined with smart dynamic landing pages. The campaign has already won a Dutch Search Award, was nominated for a European Search Award 2017 and is in the running for a Customer Data Award 2017.
In partnership with Arla Foods BV, Expand Online took a significant step in creating ads that are perceived as a service. “A strictly regulated market and products purchased almost entirely offline made Arla’s Lactofree brand an interesting online challenge,” said Antoinette de Jongh, program manager at Expand Online. “Together we ran a successful campaign that optimised the customer journey by presenting relevant content at many touch points. We are thrilled that the case has been nominated for an award!”
