Bastion Hotels chooses Dept

Bastion Hotels, the largest independent hotel chain in the Netherlands, chose Dept following a pitch. TamTam (part of Dept) is responsible for the design and construction of the new eCommerce platform that will be supported by a SEO strategy from Expand Online (part of Dept).

With 32 hotels, a personal look and feel, comfort, good facilities and a good price, Bastion Hotels offers the best option for corporate guests in the budget- and mid-range segment. With the new online platform, Bastion Hotels will be able to better anticipate the needs of the (online) target group. By implementing the simplest online booking process possible, the hotel chain hopes to further enhance the conversion.

‘Conversion takes precedence, a nice website is not an objective in and of itself’, as per Roy Goes, Online Marketing Manager at Bastion Hotels. ‘The new technology behind the platform will help us to generate more bookings, but at the same time, to create more engagement.
